Meet Joey

My love for baking began with family. When I was a kid, I was often found in the kitchen preparing food with my grandma and aunt.

 

In 2018, I graduated from South Seattle College with an Associate’s of Applied Science degree in Pastry and Specialty Baking. The program focused on breads, chocolates, cakes, custards, and French pastries. This was where I learned how to find my personal flare in baking, express my creativity, and keep high standards.

​I now run my business while working as a morning baker at Kittitas Cafe. This business has brought me so much more than just baking. It's been an incredible opportunity to learn about people, business, and food, and there's no better place than Ellensburg to start this. The backbone of Joey’s Patisserie is this community and I couldn’t do it without the amazing people who support and encourage me along the way.
